POSITION: Logistics and Operations Analyst
LOCATION: Pender, NE / Chicago, IL
REPORTS TO: Manager, Logistics

JOB SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for performing analysis across the entire Sunrise supply chain and will analyze data and processes to identify areas to improve efficiency.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency.
● Lead demand forecasting using data analytics and market trends to align inventory levels with customer demand.
● Ability to extract and analyze data, creating structured spreadsheets with accurate formulas tailored to specific business needs.
● Plan and schedule the import and inland movement of commodities.
● Oversee and maintain inventory across the supply chain.
● Collaborate with departments to ensure efficiency of execution.
● Support both domestic planning and logistics functions, including barge and rail operations.
● Update Sunrise ERP system:
○ Enter bookings and expected costs
○ Attach relevant documents
○ Pay related invoices
● All other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office with a strong focus on data manipulation and dashboard creation.
● Ability to logically define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
● Willingness to learn and take direction.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously with regular interruptions.
● Complete tasks eff ectively within a reasonable amount of time.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
● Minimum of 3 years of supply chain experience.
● Bachelor’s Degree.
